Sowing and Reaping - Galatians 6 v 7-9

Words from the Bible which are so true and upon which we should examine ourselves...

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap. For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.

Galatians 6 v 7-8 (NKJV)

What are you sowing today? Are you living for the kingdom of God and in doing so, sowing to the Spirit? Or are you focused upon things of this world and putting all your effort into building up an earthly inheritance?

Amazingly throughout the centuries there have been men who God has helped to live for him and forsake the lures of this world. They sowed in the Spirit and they reaped in the Spirit. In this word from Galatians 6:7-8, God calls us to this today: to sow in the Spirit.

Be encouraged because in verse 9 of Galatians 6 God assures us:

But we should not lose heart in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint.
